My stay at the Hesperia was fine, with some ups and downs. The rooms were suggested but at Euro 80 per night, it felt a bit expensive. My room had a view on a narrow fire-escape-like courtyard, basically a wall, leading to minimal natural light during the day.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were fine, suggested but a bit pricey for Euro 80 per night, with limited natural light from the courtyard view.
Service
9.0
The service at the Hesperia was very friendly and efficient. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, making my stay enjoyable.
Location
8.0
The location of the Hesperia makes for a great stay in Madrid. It's not in the center but close enough to enjoy a quiet 5-star experience at a reasonable price, near notable attractions like the National History Museum and the Santiago Bernabéu.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was good overall, with a slight downside of being a little pricey. While the breakfast was nice, there were plenty of options around the hotel for meals.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities at the Hesperia were thoughtful and well-maintained. From room service to laundry, everything was efficient and convenient.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms I originally booked were spacious and well-equipped, those facing the interior courtyard were dark and dim. I appreciated having access to English news channels on TV, though.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious but varied in brightness based on location.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was top-notch. From the manager to the dining room staff, especially Mihai, everyone was incredibly helpful and kind.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a business area a bit further out from the old center. However, it is very close to the metro, making it convenient for exploring the city. I also found the staff helpful in suggesting good restaurants.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience at the hotel was outstanding. I particularly loved the gluten-free options and the beautiful natural light settings during breakfast.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable stay, from room service to laundry services.

7.6/10

The hotel offers clean and good-sized rooms; however, the price of Euro 80 per night was a bit unexpected. The service was friendly and helpful, but there was no option to adjust the room temperature. The location is a bit further than ideal for sightseeing in Madrid, but it is opposite the National History Museum on the Paseo de la Castellana. The dining experience was exceptional with a great selection of breads and fruits. The facilities were well-kept and enjoyable.

The location was convenient, making it easy to get around Madrid. The dining was good, but a little pricey. I found the facilities to be satisfactory.
